Best Innovation Award and Outstanding Performance Award - Viksit Bharat 2047.

The Department of Mathematics, PSG College of Arts & Science, successfully organized the National Conference on “Mathematical Modelling for Sustainable Development in the Age of Industry 4.0” on 25th & 26th February 2026 at New Sathyam Hall.

The event was sponsored by the Atal Innovation Mission under NITI Aayog, Government of India, with the objective of integrating mathematical modelling and Industry 4.0 concepts toward achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

During the conference, three major competitive events were conducted:

  • 📜 Paper Presentation
  • 📜 Poster Presentation
  • 💡 Ideathon

Prof. Anjit Raja R, Head-Innovation and Startup Cell emerged as the overall champion by securing First Place in all three events. In addition, Prof. Anjit Raja R was honoured with the Best Innovation Award and the Outstanding Performance Award in recognition of exceptional research contribution and innovation excellence.

This achievement marks a significant milestone, highlighting academic distinction and impactful innovation in the domain of sustainable development and Industry 4.0.
